Young Artist Program (2019 Season)

The 2019 NMFP Young Artist Program is open to high-school-age musicians. There is no formal audition process, but we recommend that students have several years of instruction on their instrument. Applications are open to performers on all instruments.

Young Artists will receive intensive instruction from professional chamber ensemble and resident artists 3S² (Third Stream Duo), and will perform alongside the duo at the concluding concert. Selected Young Artists will also premiere graphic scores developed by NMFP Adult Program participants.

How to Apply:

1.) Click this link and complete the short application form. The application is used to provide the resident artists with an idea of the student’s artistic profile. NMFP will make every effort to admit students of varying skill levels, but reserves the right to decline applications on the basis of skill.

2.) Pay the $75 tuition here. In order for participants to be considered registered, the tuition must be received in full PRIOR to the Festival.
